Pets are so cute especially if you arrive home from work and they play with you – it just feels so relaxing. Puppy gates vary in size so you should get one depending on the breed of your dog. Another thing to consider is the type of gate attachment that you want to get. Gates for puppies are available in two types – the hardware-mounted gate and the pressure-mounted gate. The former is a gate that needs to be installed using screws and braces. It is durable and it does not topple over easily because it is tightly screwed to the wall or floor. Pressure-mounted gates depend on the pressure of the wall of floor. It is not screwed or braced whatsoever so it can tip anytime you trip on it. Hardware mounted gates are more preferred by many but it also depends upon the place where you will put the gate on.

The last thing about puppy gates that you might want to know is that you can have a hinged or a fixed type per preference. Hinge types are better if you do not want to keep trip while you pass through the gate’s area; while fixed gate designs are better if you want extreme prohibition for your pet. In a way of speaking, the task of choosing a perfect puppy gate for your home is quite tedious but it does guarantee safety for you, your pet, and your family.
